Jason purchased his first computer, an Apple II GS, at age 13 and has been a computer geek and Apple fan ever since. He began developing websites in 2004 and now works almost exclusively in Drupal.

Family

Jason is married to Kate Shiroff and has two wonderful children, Sophia (age 4) and Zivi (age one).

Professional Connections

Jason is a full time teacher and a part time web developer. He is fortunate enough to teach fourth and fifth grade at The Odyssey School in Denver, Colorado. He also works closely with the Denver Writing Project and the National Writing Project (NWP). Jason serves on the Technology Liaison Leadership Team of the NWP. This team helps teachers bring digital literacy skills into classrooms across the nation.
